The cryptocurrency market is facing a downturn these days.
Almost all of the top cryptocurrencies lost value in the last 24 hours. Bitcoin (Bitcoin: BITCOIN) in particular, which many thought had made a come back, lost over 3 percent on the day.
At press time Bitcoin is being traded under $3,700. Speculators say the downturn is due to the expiration of more than 25,000 worth of Bitcoin futures on Deribit today.
Currently, the only top-10 token in positive territory is the stablecoin Tether.
