The founder and managing partner of Morgan Creek Digital Assets, Anthony Pompliano, also known as Pomp, has said in a recent interview with CNBC that bitcoin may drop below $3,000 in a short-term period.
"Short term, I actually think we have lower to go [lower than $3,000]," Pompliano said.
Pompliano also believes crypto still very small, so the industry has to "fix supple asset if increased demand comes in."
Previously, Pompliano said in his blog that cryptocurrency funds would start to close, and their managers would return money to investors. He also gave a disappointing prognosis for ICO projects.
The founder of Morgan Creek is confident the managers have not yet closed their funds due to the lack of experience, at the moment they still don’t realize how bad things are with them.
However, Pompliano is quite optimistic about the future. In his twitter, Anthony once said that "those who believe and remain disciplined will be rewarded handsomely."
