The head of the leading cryptocurrency exchange Binance, Changpeng Zhao (CZ), has announced ripple (XRP) as the quote asset to TRX/XRP and XZC/XRP trading pairs in the new Combined ALTS Trading Market (ALTS).
We will be adding a couple trading pairs with XRP as the quote currency shortly.

Moreover, the exchange will rename the original ethereum (ETH) Market into the ALTS Trading Market in order to "to support more trading pairs with different quote currencies."
The exchange highlights that ALTS doesn't mean a new coin or token.
"Please note that ALTS does not represent a new coin or token. It is the symbol for Binance's new Combined ALTS Trading Market," the official announcement states.
Earlier, CZ recommended to all ripple supporters to put all of their your shills under his tweet to make XRP the base currency on Binance.
