One of the leading brokerage firms in the U.S., TD Ameritrade, has said via its tweet, that it's still “exploring” ripple (XRP) as an asset for listing.

TD Ameritrade is the U.S.-based brokerage firm based with a major trading center in St Louis, Missouri. It offers a digital trading platform for the purchase and sale of financial securities stocks, futures contracts, and many more. In 2018, TD Ameritrade placed the very first advertisement inserted within the bitcoin blockchain.

Previously, TD Ameritrade invested an unspecified amount in the ErisX regulated derivatives stock exchange.

Experts believe ErisX has may become a serious competitor to Bakkt. One of the main news this spring was the intercontinental exchange ICE, the operator of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), announcing the launch of a crypto exchange Bakkt.

Earlier, crypto-related startup Ripple announced a partnership with UAE Exchange company Finablr. It’s expected the blockchain service will go live by Q1, 2019 with one or two Asian banks.
