Chinese Internet Court in Hangzhou has begun to use blockchain tech to protect online writers' copyright, China.org.cn states.
China has set its Internet Courts in Hangzhou, Beijing, and Guangzhou. Their purpose — is to regulate Web-related cases. China.org.cn says that with the help of blockchain, the integral process of work circulating on the Internet can "be extracted for writers to use as evidence in court."
China has been looking closely after the development of distributed technologies since they may be both a great solution to many issues and a big threat to China's censorship.
However, like it or not but China spent over 40 billion yuan of investments to the blockchain sector in 2018.
Though China may push the technological evolution even further it also implies a great level of regulation over distributed technology, which isn't, to put it mildly, correlate with the blockchain ideology.
Earlier, Chinese Cyberspace Administration, the country’s Internet regulator, developed a new set of rules which deprives the anonymity of blockchain-based services.
Although it's quite difficult to forecast the blockchain future with China's participation one thing is certain — blockchain is becoming more popular despite the bear market.
