Crypto-related blockchain startup Bity has announced the integration of anonymous cryptocurrency monero (XMR) in its ATMs all around Switzerland.
Bity is a Switzerland-based crypto startup & ATM manufacturer that was founded in 2014. According to the official site, the startup is about “to create a future where any transaction that can be made with fiat money can also be made with cryptocurrencies.”
In addition to monero, anyone can purchase/sell via Bity’s ATM bitcoin (BTC) or ethereum (ETH) with CHF or EUR.
This kind of service expansion is rather ambiguous, given the fact that Swiss Minister of Finance, Ueli Maurer Read recently rejected a possible blockchain law at the Infrachain conference in Bern, Switzerland.
What is more important is that monero has bad reputation as the best cryptocurrency for scammers/frauds and hidden mining. For example, a few days ago, Israel-based research company Check Point Software Technologies conducted the research according to which, a new cryptomalware KingMiner which is mine cryptocurrency monero (XMR) has ability of self-developing.
One way or another, earlier, Switzerland registered the world’s first crypto ETP on the Swiss Exchange SIX, thereby confirming its loyal intentions regarding the cryptocurrency industry.
