KuCoin Opens Fiat Deposits

Cryptocurrency exchange KuCoin has entered into collaboration with an EU financial institution Simplex Inc. to allow its clients to purchase crypto with credit & debit cards, the official press release states.

KuCoin is a Singapore-based cryptocurrency exchange that was founded in 2017. In November, 2018 'The People's Exchange' officially partnered with IDG Capital, Matrix Partners and Neo Global Capital.

With the new collaboration, KuCoin will definitely increase its user base by allowing traditional payments. At press time, the exchange’s clients can purchase bitcoin (BTC), ethereum (ETH), and litecoin (LTC) with both USD and EUR.

The CEO of KuCoin Michael Gan says that this collaboration will offer a “seamless experience and, more significantly, bring cryptocurrency to the masses.”

It’s worth noting that this collaboration is not the first one is crypto space for Simplex. Previously, Simplex Inc. the Japanese internet giant famous for its forex trading services, DMM Group, launched a crypto trading platform provided by Simplex Inc.

Earlier, in November, KuCoin succeeded to attract $20 million in a funding Series A. With new investments, the exchange is about to launch Platform 2.0 in Q1 2019.
