Huawei Cloud, the largest telecommunications company, officially launched its Blockchain platform, BCS, based on the BaaS concept for global use. The platform was launched for commercial use in China in early 2018.

The platform is designed for global enterprises and developers who can quickly and cost-effectively create, deploy and manage Blockchain-based applications on the Huawei Cloud platform.

BCS is a cloud service that takes advantage of the cloud and security technologies of Huawei Cloud. It is easy to use, effective, and universally applicable – it can be used in various applications, the Internet of Things (IoT), finance, and other areas.

In 2016, Huawei joined the Hyperledger open source project from the Linux Foundation. As part of the work in two subprojects – Fabric and STL – Huawei was recognized as the key developer of Hyperledger and is the only Asian representative in these subprojects.

Huawei Cloud focuses on developing Blockchain platforms to provide technical support to companies that develop applications and solutions based on this technology. Previously, the company introduced a tool designed to test the performance of the main Blockchains.
