Bitcoin Smashes Below $4K

On November 24, 2018, at 21:34 (GMT), bitcoin (BTC), the largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, has fallen below the mark of $4,000, according to the information from CoinMarketCap. Previously, Bloomberg made a forecast, according to which, BTC would hit the bottom at $1,500.

At the time of writing, bitcoin is trading at the mark of $3,988 (-7.29%). The marketcap of the leading crypto is set on $69,647,934,510.

It's worth noting, that previously the CEO of Genesis Trading, Michael Moro, said that bitcoin would find its bottom at the mark of $3,000.

It's also widely believed that one of the potential growth catalyst may be the upcoming ecosystem Bakkt, which is planning to launch bitcoin futures on January 29, 2019 by New York Stock Ex­change’s (NYSE) op­er­a­tor, In­ter­con­ti­nen­tal Ex­change (ICE).

Earlier, the whole crypto market suffered losses, as it believe, because of bitcoin cash (BCH) hardfork, which led into separation of two independent chains — bitcoin ABC and bitcoin SV.
