Cryptocurrency mining operators in China started selling mining machines by weight, as opposed to price per unit following the downfall of cryptocurrency market, according to the report of local Chinese crypto outlet 8BTC that was recently published.

It was explained by 8BTC that the decline of cryptocurrencies prices has resulted in a similar drop in mining profitability and forced Chinese operators to sell their mining devices at a loss.

Cryptocurrency miners are reportedly especially eager to sell the older models such as Antminer S7, Antminer T9, and Avalon A741, as they have already reached their shutdown price.

It is expected that more and more cryptocurrency mining operators will join this scheme if the market will continue to fall.
