Internet Attackers organized a fake Black Friday on cryptocurrency exchange Uphold sending emails with an offer to buy bitcoin with a big discount, according to the report of news media The Next Web.

It was also stated that unknown hackers received an access to the exchange’s email and send phishing offers with a reference to a false advertising campaign in order to steal funds of gullible users.

These emails contained information about the sale of bitcoins, supposedly organized for the world day of shopping. Clients of the exchange were offered to send to the specified address from 0.1 to 50 bitcoins (Bitcoin: BITCOIN) and get back 15% more.

After four hours the administration of the exchange announced the hack and asked customers not to follow the link indicated in the letter and not send their coins to anyone. The number of victims is currently unknown, hackers have received two transactions in the amount of about 2.2 thousand dollars.
