One of the executives at BitPay, Sonny Singh, told in an interview with Bloomberg, that bitcoin (BTC) has all chances to hit $20,000 by the end of 2019, in the case if institutional investors enter the crypto industry.
BitPay is a global crypto-related bitcoin payment provider with HQ in the U.S. It was founded in 2011 by Tony Gallippi and Stephen Pair. BitPay provides bitcoin and bitcoin cash (BCH) payments services for all kind of merchants.
“If traditional investors would come.. You would see [bitcoin] price maybe around $15,000, possible $20,000 by the end of next year,” said CCO of BiPay, forecasting bitcoin price in 2019.
Singh claims that bitcoin has become mainstream adoption around the world and it has great brand recognition. BitPay COO convinced that bitcoin’s price won’t significantly move up/down, until there will be a new direction for BTC.
However, Sonny Singh believes that things like Fidelity launching its product may be one of the catalyst for price movement.
It’s noteworthy that Sonny Singh is not the only one who believes it just the beginning of bitcoin's journey.
Earlier, the CEO of crypto exchange Binance, Changpeng Zhao said, that the bull crypto market will definitely come, though he doesn't know what kind of trigger would cause it.
