Blockchain-based company Bitfury has hired a former U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) representative Annette Nazareth as a new advisory board member of Bitfury, and Co-founder of Korelya Capital, Antoine Dresch, to its board of directors, according to the official announcement.

Bitfury is a full-service fintech company, which is develop crypto-related hardware & software solutions for governmental organizations, institutional businesses, and individuals in the sphere of high-level securely transactions across the distributed tech.

Nazareth will consult Bitfury on regulatory matters and strategic development in traditional financial industry. Previously, Nazareth worked at SEC, focusing on a wide range of regulatory tasks. In addition to her experience as a SEC commissioner, she is executive at the international law agency Davis Polk & Wardwell.

The announcement also states that in addition to Nazareth, the company has hired Antoine Dresch, Co-Founder of tech-focused private fund Korelya Capital, as a member of the board of directors.

It seems that Bitfury is about to take another step in order to become one of the leadest blockchain-as-a-service providers in the U.S.

On November 14, 2018, Bitfury succeeded to acquire crypto & blockchain investment firm Final Frontier to develop in­sti­tu­tional tools both for pro-traders & in­vestors.

Earlier, there were some reports that Bitfury could hold the very first crypto IPO in Europe. As it was stated before, Bitfury was seeking for a global in­vest­ment banks to hold a global IPO in the very be­gin­ning of 2019.
