The ICON Foundation, the developer of ICON project whose aim is to build one of the largest decentralized networks in the world connecting hundreds of institutions through blockchain within the country, announced that its team would be attending the Digital Economy Forum in Seoul, according to the company’s blog post.
It was also stated that the CEO of the company, J.H. Kim will give a presentation about the value of blockchain technology as a ‘new platform revolution’ from the perspective of a startup entrepreneur, informing the audience about prospects of various use-cases. The ICON team expects that the Forum will help to guide them in the right direction for the innovative growth through in-depth debates and discussions with experts from the diverse field.
The Digital Economy Forum Seoul 2018 will become the first ever event of such kind for South Korea. It will be held this week at Hotel Conrad Seoul. The forum is co-hosted by the Korea Ministry of SMEs and Startups (MSS) and Korea Ministry of Economy and Finance (MOEF). It is being co-organized by the Korea Internet Corporations Association, Startup Alliance and Korea Startup Forum.
The event will be hosting over 400 attendees from different government institutions, technology giants, as well as promising startups in the digital ecosystem.
