ICO DRC and REcoin organizer, Maksim Zaslavskiy, has admitted lying to approximately 1,000 investors, according to Bloomberg.
Zaslavskiy is organizer of REcoin and DRC World ICO which were held in 2017. During the ICO Zaslavskiy and his accomplies gathered almost $2,8 million.
Zaslavskiy said:
“I, along with others, made these false statements to obtain money from investors.”
It’s also should be noted that in December last year, the defendant refused to admit his guilt after the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filed charges.
At the time of writing, Maksim Zaslavskiy is facing 37 months in prison.
Earlier, Twitter accounts of Target, one of the leading retailers in the United States, and Google G Suite services fell into the hands of intruders, who immediately announced the bitcoin giveaway.
