On Wednesday, November 14th, cryptocurrency Ripple (XRP) has displaced Ethereum (ETH) during the total crypto fall and became the world’s second-biggest cryptocurrency by market cap, according to the statistic from CoinMarketCap at 21:33 (GMT).

At the time of writing, the market capitalization of Ethereum (ETH) is set on $18,576,063,648 and is trading around $180 (-12,95%), while Ripple lost only 8,66% and its market cap is $18,770,895,774. XRP is trading at $0,46.

It's should be noted that this is not the first time, when ETH lose his position at top 100 cryptos. Previously, XRP increased by 24% and overtook Ethereum by market cap.

Earlier, Brad Gar­ling­house, the CEO of Rip­ple, said that more and more com­pa­nies will turn to blockchain startup prod­ucts, rather than SWIFT, be­cause of the ad­van­tages of Rip­ple in speed and man­u­fac­tura­bil­ity.
