At the first China International Import Expo which was held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), a blockchain platform VeChain (VET) has demonstrated to the representatives the ‘My Story’ and cold chain logistics solutions co-developed with DNV GL, according to the official blog announcement.

Manager from DNV GL Business Sustainability Division, Song Ke, has introduced to the representatives the Carbon emission reduction model, which was using smart contracts, based on the VeChainThor blockchain.

The latest version of the digital carbon ecosystem was represented by Tian Xinli, project manager at VeChain.

Xinli said:

“The Digital Carbon Ecosystem developed by VeChain and DNV GL is an open platform and BYD is one of the earliest participants in the ecosystem. This is a win-win cycle that both individuals and companies can be benefit from.”

Earlier, on October 31, a Singapore-based blockchain marketplace Morpheus Labs partnered with VeChain in order to focus on creating node deployment, smart contracts back-end SDKs and front-end applications.
