ConsenSys has announced the launch of “ConsenSys Grants” program, which will be focused on supporting ethereum (ETH) infrastructure projects.
The announcement states:
“The launch of this grants program is an effort to encourage the growth of the Ethereum infrastructure layer with bounties and grants for open source projects.”
The $500,000 fund will be donated in amounts of $10,000 to $25,0000 to different projects via Gitcoin.
It also states that the program will “seek feedback from the wider blockchain community to understand design needs, tools, and crypto-economic systems,” which are necessary to improve the ethereum ecosystem.
Earlier, on October 31, ConsenSys acquired American asteroid mining company Planetary Resources.
