Republican Jared Polis won the gubernatorial elections in Colorado. He has a five-point plan for making Colorado “a national hub for Blockchain innovation in business and government.”
Jared Polis was a member of the Congressional Blockchain Caucus in the US House of Representatives and actively encouraged the country to take the lead in integrating and regulating cryptocurrency space. In addition, in February of this year, Polis wanted to oblige congressmen to declare digital currencies.
His election platform included a number of initiatives that he intends to promote to develop technology, including improving the protection of digital voting and using the blockchain to digitize government records and increase their transparency.
