Spirits company Fusion Whisky in partners with Adelphi Distillery release The Winter Queen, a blend of whiskey and innovative Blockchain technology.
Whiskey Winter Queen will be the second whiskey that uses the Blockchain after Fusion Whisky’s Australian blend Brisbane. Their new product is a mixture of Scotch and malt whiskey from the Netherlands, released in February of this year.
Alex Bruce, Managing Director of Adelphi Distillery, said that Blockchain technology provides unprecedented detail on the origin of its products. This allows consumers to see the whole way of making and transporting whiskey.
