A global bitcoin payment service BitPay has announced the appointment of former Director of Global Mass Payments at Western Union, Rolf Haag, as the Head of BitPay’s Business Solutions.
The Co-founder & CEO of BitPay, Stephen Pair, said that Rolf’s experience is “an asset to BitPay and will help us accelerate the success of our B2B and Mass Payments businesses globally.”
The announcement states, that Haag will be responsible for “defining the global B2B and Business-to-Consumer (B2C) mass payments vision, product and go to market strategies.”
Earlier, on October, european customers lost access to the dashboard of BitPay cards issued by Wave Crest due to Visa stopped servicing prepaid crypto cards.
