American multinational investment bank Morgan Stanley found that venture capital companies & hedge funds have increased investments by more than 11% in 2018, Business Insider reports.
However, in Morgan Stanley says the amount of investments could have been bigger:
“From our client conversations we find three major obstacles preventing large scale investment in the cryptocurrency space.”
Morgan Stanley believes that underdeveloped regulation, lack of a custodian solution, and lack of large financial institutions and asset managers impacted on limited investment amounts.
Earlier, Morgan Stanley released a report in which it states that the number of institutional investors in cryptocurrency is steadily growing.
