In a recent interview with Naomi Brockwell, ShapeShift CEO, Erik Voorhees, said that in the future crypto will replace government fiat.

Voorhees said:
“I’ve felt like it [crypto] has always had a significant potential to take over the world… and I still do. I still think that it is going to replace government fiat over time, especially as people continue to figure out that there is an alternative to that scam.”
Further, Voorhees added that cryptocurrency has gone from a “little niche project to something that a lot of normal, respectable people understand and talk about.”
Earlier, The Wall Street Journal published an article in which stated that in two years $9 million was laundered through ShapeShift.
