Residents of South America now can receive and make crypto payments via SMS through Dash (DASH) technology, Finance Magnates reports.
It’s said that in order to sign up, Venezuelans should:
- First: send a message with a word ‘DASH’ to 22625;
- Second: send a message with a word ‘CREAR’ to the same number (this will create a Dash crypto wallet);
At the press time, the service is in public beta mode, so it can only be used by those, who using Movistar or Digitel mobile operators.
Earlier, on October, Dash Core Group CEO Ryan Taylor expressed confidence that the release of digital currencies of central banks (CBDC) is “the inevitable future.”
