The full-stack AI blockchain platform SingularityNET has concluded a partnership with the government of Malta to draft Malta’s National AI Strategy, according to a recent announcement.

As for the first working product, SingularityNET will be developing the world’s first Robot Citizenship Test. It states that such kind of test would serve as “a basis for benevolent robots among people.”

The Junior Minister for Financial Services, Digital Economy and Innovation, Silvio Schembri, said that Malta wants to be “among the top 10 countries in the world with an Artificial Intelligence Policy.”

Earlier on September, Joseph Muscat, the Prime Minister of Malta claimed at the 73rd Session of the General Assembly of the United Nations (UN), that “blockchain makes cryptocurrencies the inevitable future of money.”
