Founder of McAfee anti-virus program, John McAfee claims that he has plans to run for president of the United States in the 2020 election, according to McAfee's public statement on Malta Blockchain Summit.
McAfee noted that the campaign process will be a prime opportunity to promote bitcoin and cryptocurrencies to the masses and stated that his platform will be that similar to that of the current libertarian movement.
In the previous month, John McAfee announced the creation of an alliance to fight corruption in the crypto community and calls for the support of coins that have decided to be delisted from corrupt centralized exchanges.
