Coinbase, one of the leading crypto companies, is now ranked among the most valuable technology startups in the world after completing a new $300 million funding round.
Coinbase crypto exchange reported that it has closed a $300 million funding round held by Tiger Global Management. According to Coinbase President and COO Asiff Hirji, after the funding round, the company is worth more than $8 billion.
Coinbase plans to integrate a new listing structure for cryptographic tokens in order to list new cryptocurrencies to the platform more quickly.
“We see hundreds of cryptocurrencies that could be added to our platform today and we will lay the groundwork to support thousands in the future."
