Ripple Labs Inc acknowledged that it hired Amir Sarhangi who had been leading Google’s new wireless messaging system, as vice president of products, Reuters reported.
Earlier Amir Sarhangi founded Jibe Mobile, Inc., and had been serving there as its Chief Executive Officer. In 2016, due to Google’s acquisition of Jibe Mobiles, Sarhangi joined an American multinational technology company as head of RCS (Rich Communication Services).
At the time of writing, Alphabet Inc’s Google didn’t comment on if it had filled Sarhangi’s as head of RCS.
Previously in October, Ripple began commercial use of xRapid Transaction Solution.
