According to a recently published report of Recorded Future called “Shifting Patterns in Internet Use Reveal Adaptable and Innovative North Korean Ruling Elite”, U.S.-based security firm claims that the North Korean government has participated and even sponsored at least two scam coins.

As it was stated in Recorded Future’s research, the first scam altcoin is currently called Interstellar coin as it was renamed several times from HOLD, HUZU, Stellar to Interstellar. The token was listed and delisted on a series of crypto exchanges, eventually defrauding investors in a scam staking scheme

The second scam altcoin called Marine Chain coin was detected on different forums and was claimed to be fraudulent by the state of Ontario, Canada.
