According to the report of music industry Magazine Vents, one of the biggest rap groups Wu-Tang Clan announced the launch of their own cryptocurrency called ODB. The coin is named after one of the groups founding members who passed away in 2004, Ol Dirty Bastard.

It was also stated that the project was created by the son of Ol Dirty Bastard, Barson Jones that consider that the cryptocurrency would be a perfect tool to improve the connection between artists and their fans.
