Crypto trading platform Bakkt created by the Intercontinental Exchange has announced that it would launch bitcoin (BTC) futures trading on December 12, 2018.
The announcement states:
“ICE Futures U.S., Inc. will list the new Bakkt Bitcoin (USD) Daily Futures Contract for trading on Wednesday, December 12, 2018.”
Earlier in October, Bakkt CEO, Kelly Loeffler even predicted crypto revolution following the launch of BTC futures trading.
However, not everyone is optimistic concerning the launch of bitcoin futures trading. The founder of dogeсoin (DOGE), Jackson Palmer, said in a recent discussion that coming of institutional investors will threat the crypto decentralization.
