Leader in financial services Visa, announced fresh details of the Blockchain-based service that offers digital identity. The company plans to launch Visa B2B Connect in the first quarter of 2019.

The company’s distributed ledger-based platform is created to provide financial institutions with an easy, fast and secure way to handle B2B cross-border payments worldwide.

B2B Connect's digital identity feature provides an organization’s confidential business information, bank details and account numbers, linked with a unique identifier that can be used to facilitate transactions on the platform.

Visa plans to launch B2B Connect's commercial version next year and intends to expand partnerships to add additional features to the B2B Connect platform.
