According to the recent announcement, NEM Foundation has launched a new blockchain hub in Melbourne, Australia.
In the new place, NEM community will have a possibility to gather with mass media and members of the community in order to broad “the basics of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency.”
NEM Foundation’s Australia and New Zealand Lead, Jian Chan, has said that launching a new NEM hub was a logical next step:
“The launch of the NEM Blockchain Hub in Melbourne is a strong sign of our commitment towards supporting innovation in Australia and the world. Having first launched our Australian operations at the FinTech Australia Intersekt festival last year, NEM is now present in over 40 countries.”
The announcement follows the recent listing of NEM’s asset (XEM) on cryptocurrency exchange Cobinhood.
