The notorious stablecoin tether (USDT) had withdrawn almost 25% of USDT from circulation, Coindoo stated.
According to the information from Omni Explorer, tether hasn’t issued any additional USDT since September.
Meanwhile, tether has sent almost 690 million USDT back to treasury wallet.
At the time of writing, tether’s price fixes at $0,9857, according to CoinMarketCap.
Previously, big USDT holders were trying to sell "tens of millions of tether", but failed to find any interested party in the offer.
