Only 39% of participants successfully passed the new exam for cryptocurrency agent certification in Malta. According to the Times of Malta, earlier the exam pass rate was adjusted in favor of exam takers, but the result was unsatisfactory.

Certification is part of the new Virtual Financial Assets Act. It is a list of rules relating to cryptocurrencies. The law aims to turn the Blockchain sphere into a legal space, protect consumers, and also make Malta more attractive for crypto participants.

The new law requires licensing of service providers and operators. Specialists can get certification of Virtual Financial Assets agent after obtaining a license.

The exam is a series of multiple choice questions. Many students are dissatisfied with the examining organization, including the latest change in assessment rules. The retake policy of exam organizer has not been announced.
