The White Paper of a new crypto project was named Voldemort from the Harry Potter saga. The document that appeared in the “Bitcoin Wizards” chat is named “Tom Elvis Jedusor” – this is the French version of Tom Riddle’s name.

Now, cryptosphere is wondering if this document is related to the author of the MimbleWimble protocol, published in July 2016 under the same pseudonym. MimbleWimble is a spell from the saga of J.K. Rowling, which doesn’t allow to talk. This protocol enhances the privacy and confidentiality of users' personal data.

The new document is entitled “Fragmented Transaction Protocol”. It also promises increased privacy. Developer Andrew Poelstra, who presented the first protocol to the community, expressed doubts that the new document was published by the same author.

Andrew Poelstra called the proposal not very good, as it violates some aspects of confidentiality proposed by the MimbleWimble team. If Poelstra’s assumption is correct, the developer probably just wanted to draw more attention to his product.
