According to a recent blog announcement, popular cryptocurrency exchange BitMEX will launch its own bitcoin client to meet industry standard Bitcoin Core.
The announcement states:
“Today BitMEX Research is announcing a new client to compete with Bitcoin Core, Bitcoin BitMEX Research.”
BitMEX highlights that its client doesn’t change bitcoin’s consensus rules, so “the concerns about contentious chainsplits do not apply.”
Previously, BitMEX conducted a research in which it stated that “the technology under original bitcoin is more popular among users and grow at higher rates than its fork bitcoin cash.”
BitMEX is a cryptocurrency exchange that ranked 4th on the list of the safest crypto exchanges in the world.
