According to Norwegian local media TV 2, a man was brutally stabbed to death after completing an in-person bitcoin exchange. The investigators believe that these two events are connected.

As it was stated, the attack occurred on Monday morning at the 24-year-old victim’s apartment in Majorstuen which is located in Oslo. The stabbing took place between 7:50 am and 12:10 pm. The roommate reported about the accident to the police.

Grete LIen Metlid, the leader of the Oslo police department’s head of intelligence and investigations unit claimed that investigators were aware of a tip involving a possible bitcoin connection, but declined to elaborate further.
