According to the “SegWit vs. BCH” research of BitMEX cryptocurrency exchange, the technology under original bitcoin is more popular among users and grow at higher rates than its fork bitcoin cash.
As it was stated in BitMEX report, SegWit and bitcoin cash usage is consistently growing, but the one that belongs to bitcoin has a higher rate.
BitMEX considers that both implementations promise lower transaction fees so it’s good for investors to compare the two’s actual usage to determine which is a better long-term investment medium of exchange.
