According to GlobeNewswire press-release, the Californian game company X2 Games Corp., that was founded by the Atari founder, Nolan Bushnell, will be acquired by Canadian-based cryptocurrency investing firm Global Blockchain Technologies Corp (BLOC).

“Bushnell will become the Co-Chairman and CEO of BLOC,” GlobeNewswire states.

It’s also said that X2 Games will be focused on Alexa Games for the 50 million home devices.

“This acquisition by BLOC will integrate X2 Games’ innovative game development studio and intellectual property within BLOC’s portfolio of blockchain assets, allowing new and revolutionary games to be developed together,” the founder of Atari said in a statement.

X2 Games is a games publisher that leverage blockchain technology to create unique gaming experiences for conventional and experimental platforms.
