In a recent interview, bitcoin developer, Jimmy Song, has attacked EOS saying that it’s "a scam" and “it’ll die in a horrible dumpster fire in the next five years.”

“Well, I think EOS is a scam and I don’t think you should work on it. Because working for something EOS… I don’t think it’s a really idea because it will die in a horrible dumpster fire in the next five years,” Song said in the interview.

Song also recommended newbies to start their career working on open-source startups and learn as much as possible because developers that know this [cryptographic] stuff are “incredibly rare and they become desirable in the marketplace anyway.”

“It isn’t that difficult to find someone that will hire you and a lot of these ICO projects will flush you with money but have no developers, and oftentimes they will come and offer a lot of money,” Song commented on new career opportunities.

Song is not the only one who“doesn’t like” EOS. Previously, one of the developers of decentralized applications on Ethereum accused the owners of EOS tokens in organizing the congestion of the Ethereum network through dubious airdrops of random tokens.
