The Chinese central bank, the People’s Bank of China (PBoC), has published on its official website the crypto-related vacancy announcement.

According to the announcement, PBoC is seeking two programmers at their Digital Money Institute “with experience in blockchain and cryptography”.

The announcement states that PBoC wants the programmers to have such skills in order “to build a big data platform and a chip processor that would allow to run cryptographic algorithms, security protocols, and security architecture analysis.”

PBoc is also seeking qualified economic & finance specialists who “will be responsible for legal research and policy research on legal digital currency.”

Previously, PBoC said that it “intends to intensify research of stablecoins and considers the possibility of supporting national institutions to issue yuan-backed assets.”
