Former Trump advisor and Ex-Goldman Sachs president, Gary Cohn, has joined a fintech blockchain startup Spring Labs as an advisor. According to an interview from the Financial Times, Cohn said that this was a “unique opportunity.”

"We all know all the inefficiencies of the existing currency world and blockchain clearly helps to eliminate them at some point in the future," Cohn said in the interview.

Spring Labs startup has already raised nearly $15M in seed funding. According to its official website Spring Labs is “building a decentralized network for identity and credit to serve as the foundation for a more transparent, secure, and efficient delivery of financial services.”

Gary Cohn is a quite famous supporter of the crypto & blockchain industry despite the fact that he was in charge of the American multinational investment bank, Goldman Sachs, that has indirectly acquired U.S. cryptocurrency exchange Poloniex

Earlier this year, Cohn predicted in a CNBC interview the appearance of a global cryptocurrency.
