According to the report of Vanuatu Daily Post, Malta will help Government of Vanuatu with blockchain and ICO legislation. Earlier, in September, the Reserve Bank of Vanuatu issued a public statement warning that crypto is “not recognized as legal tender in Vanuatu.”

Besides providing training to Vanuatu students and state regulators, Maltese financial authorities are also interested in contribution to Vanuatu’s financial oversight.

Emphasizing the importance of blockchain, Ralph Regenvanu, Minister of Foreign Affairs, was able to meet the Prime Minister of Malta, Dr. Joseph Muscat, and Silvio Schembri, Parliamentary Secretary for Financial Services, to request Malta to share its legislation and knowledge with Vanuatu.
