According to The Information, the most prestige universities in the U.S. have made investments into “at least one cryptocurrency fund.”
It’s said that Harvard University, Stanford University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Dartmouth College, and the University of North Carolina have invested in cryptocurrency fund with the help of their respective endowments.
An anonymous source of The Information familiar with the investments claims that universities have invested “tens of millions of dollars in these funds.”
Earlier this month, a team led by David Svenson, managing Yale's fund of $29.4 billion, entered the digital asset market by investing in two cryptocurrency funds.
