Business magazine Forbes announced partnership with Ethereum-based platform Civil to start experimenting with publishing to the Civil blockchain.
The announcement states:
“The arrangement with Civil allows Forbes to experiment with and better understand how publishing content on the blockchain can increase trust with audiences.”
According to the agreement with Civil, Forbes will be publishing crypto-related content in Q1 2019.
Civil CEO Matthew Iles said:
“Civil’s mission is to power sustainable journalism throughout the world, and Forbes’ commitment to regularly publish content on our platform is a major milestone for our approach.”
If everything goes well, Forbes may integrate blockchain tools into its own CMS in order to improve authorship and control of content rights.
