According to the report of China’s official state-run press agency Xinhua, the Hainan Province launched country’s “first” officially licensed “‘blockchain pilot zone”.The aim of the project is to create a specific infrastructure for the development and implementation of blockchain technology.
The blockchain pilot zone is based at the Hainan Resort Software Community (RSC), a dedicated tech space for technological projects. The creation of zone will also lead to several important partnerships with blockchain research institute and innovation center.
As was also stated in the report, the head of Hainan's provincial department of industry and information technology noted that the organization of blockchain pilot zone will help to gather together best blockchain specialists from all over the world.
