According to Financial News, Coinfloor, the oldest bitcoin cryptocurrency exchange in UK, will cut majority of its staff.

Coinfloor CEO Obi Nwosu confirmed the report:

“Coinfloor is currently undergoing a business restructure to focus on our competitive advantages in the marketplace and to best serve our clients. As part of this restructuring, we are making some staff changes and redundancies.”

However, Nwosu rejected to specify the number of affected staff.

Nwosu also noted that the reason for such measures is associated with a significant decrease in trading volumes on the exchange.

Coinfloor was founded in 2013 and has been providing exchange services to people from the UK region.
