Malta’s blockchain savvy law firm, GTG Advocates, together with fintech and blockchain specialists Wyzer have have shared their intentions to create a joint project, Caledo, which will offer a wide range of services including technological, corporate, legal, and regulatory, thus becoming the first company in Malta to combine this array of services under one roof.

Malta is time and time again proving its dedication to developing blockchain technologies, with the Prime Minister, Joseph Muscat, recently claiming at the UN session, that the future of money is crypto. Now, two of Malta’s brightest blockchain minds, Ian Gauci of GTG Advocates and Abdalla Kablan of Wyzer, have got together to establish a fintech company where a variety of the solutions will be provided in one place.

Wyzer’s Dr. Kablan believes that this shared endeavor could benefit the blockchain market: “We are excited to be joining forces with GTG Advocates to provide this new industry with a full spectrum of solutions. We believe that our joint expertise complement each other and together we will offer a full range of services that will positively impact this newly emerging market.”

GTG Advocates’ Dr. Gauci, who is in charge of media and communications, shared his view: “Digital innovation is making us rethink the legacy paradigm around us, where cross-sectorial knowledge, as well as activity, are key. We are practicing what we are preaching here and I am excited that GTG and Wyzer are setting the foundations for next chapter of services in the digital economy by being a key enabler and inceptor in this area.”

WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?

  • This united project could strengthen Malta’s already prominent position on the blockchain map, by attracting more top crypto and blockchain firms.
  • Having an array of important and required services in one place is always something highly anticipated and handy. So Caledo will surely make the lives of Malta-based blockchain companies easier.
