A team led by David Svenson, managing Yale's fund of $29.4 billion, entered the digital asset market by investing in two cryptocurrency funds.

According to Bloomberg, Yale University, an Ivy League School, invested in Paradigm, a cryptocurrency fund founded by Coinbase co-founder Fred Ehrsam, former Sequoia Capital partner Matt Huang, and former Pantera Capita employee Charles Noyes.

Including Yale share, Paradigm raised $400 million to invest in cryptocurrency space. It became one of the largest investment funds alongside Pantera, Polychain Capital and Andreessen Horowitz (a16z).

According to CNBC, Yale University also invested in the a16z cryptocurrency fund, launched in June by venture company Andreessen Horowitz. The amount of investment is not disclosed due to the confidentiality of information.
